Stations of the Cross

Friday, April 18 | 6-9AM and 3-6PM

Stop by the church for a self-guided time of prayer and reflection focused on the somber significance of Good Friday. Expect to spend at least 30min to walk through the stations.

Some elements may be too mature for children and students under 15.

Worship Service

Friday, April 18 | 6:30PM

Gather for a time of worship and reflection as we acknowledge the death of Christ before His resurrection on Easter Sunday.

RiverTree Kids will be available during this event.

We're excited to celebrate baptisms this Easter! Baptism is an external expression of the reality that you have chosen to follow Jesus. Through the act of being immersed in water and being brought back up, you are identifying with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.

Easter is almost here, and we need 100 volunteers to help make it an incredible weekend! Serve as a greeter, at the coffee bar, on the parking team, or in other roles to welcome our guests. Attend a service, serve a service—sign up in the lobby on Sunday or email us below to get involved!

HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT EASTER WEEKEND?

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
No matter who you are, whatever your story, if you have questions, doubts, or you're not even sure what you believe, RiverTree Massillon is a safe and welcoming environment where you can ask questions, meet others and explore faith in community.  

Our services are typically 60-70min long. You can expect contemporary worship, relevant biblical teaching from a high-caliber leadership team, and multiple ways to connect. Basically, we have pretty awesome worship, sermons and a place for you!
DO I NEED TO BE A REGULAR ATTENDER TO PARTICIPATE IN HOLY WEEK EVENTS?
Absolutely not! You're welcome on Sunday mornings and at any of our church-wide events, we'd be happy to have you. 
WHERE SHOULD I GO WHEN I ARRIVE?
Our main entrance is located beneath the portico, it's hard to miss. Once inside, stop by the New Here area at the top of the stairs, and our team will show you around.

Have kids? Look for the RiverTree Kids area in the lobby to check in. 
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Come as you are! Whether you prefer jeans, shorts, or dress shoes, you’ll find a relaxed and welcoming environment. Wear what makes you comfortable—we’re just glad you’re here
WILL RIVERTREE KIDS BE AVAILABLE?
RiverTree Kids will be available for newborn - 5th grade during the Good Friday worship service and all of our Easter services. Our team will be available at the RTK Check-in area to answer any questions you have and get your kids checked in!
ARE THERE ACCOMODATIONS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES?
Our accessible entrance is located to the left of the main entrance. We have reserved parking available nearby. Once through the door, turn right, and follow the hallway into the sanctuary.

If for any reason worshipping in the main sanctuary is uncomfortable, we have various spaces throughout the lobby for you to sit and still enjoy the service.
